West Midlands Aikido Association and Kaizen Events and are proud to announce upcoming Children with Cancer Charity Seminar on behalf of Tilly Hunt daughter of fellow Aikidoka Jason Hunt. Everyone is welcome, just turn up on the day and pay. We have Aikido and Juijitsu sessions throughout the day and charity raffle at the end and all proceeds go directly to Tilly’s chosen charities Pasic and Young Lives Vs Cancer.
Tilly was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumour in February 2021 and underwent an intense treatment of Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy. During her treatment at the QMC in Nottingham she received amazing support from 2 charities who support children with cancer, Pasic and Young Lives Vs Cancer.
Pasic – Provide emotional, social and practical support to families of children and young people with cancer living in the East Midlands to improve the quality of their lives. The whole family is offered the means to build support networks and reduce isolation to help make a positive difference to all.

Young Lives Vs Cancer -At Young Lives vs Cancer, we get that. We are the charity that helps children and young people (0-25) and their families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them.
It could be a financial grant for a parent struggling to keep their child warm through their treatment or for a young person who can’t afford to get to hospital. Or helping a family stay together at one of our free Homes from Home close to the hospital where their child is having treatment.
